Helpful Hints - Peninsular Configurator

Model IHP - Metric High Pressure Hydraulic Cylinders

"Cylinder Stroke Length"

All Stroke Lengths must be stated in  Millimeters.

For example
:

  • A stroke length of 18 millimeters should be entered into the configurator as 18

  • A stroke length of 2500 millimeters should be entered into the configurator as 2500

Peninsular metric cylinders may contain stroke lengths ranging from 25 millimeters up to 3500 millimeters.

Note: our standard stroke length tolerance is  ±1.5  millimeters from the stated cylinder stroke.

REMEMBER: ALWAYS STATE YOUR REQUIRED STROKE LENGTH IN TOTAL MILLIMETERS

See the illustration below to gain additional information regarding stroke lengths.

For stroke lengths over 900 millimeters - you should consider the use of a stop tube !

When a stop tube is required, the stroke length will be stated differently than the stroke length for a cylinder without a stop tube, once the cylinder part number is generated by the configurator:
